Angela Radford

Professional Counselor

I am an independently licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and earned my Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2019, following my B.A. in Human Services and Counseling. I have worked in community mental health in Arizona since 2010, serving in residential programs, providing mobile crisis therapy, and collaborating with a wide range of community health partners. I also hold an active Counseling Compact license, allowing me to practice in participating states, including Minnesota.

I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Somatic and Body-Based Self-Regulation, and I integrate Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths-based approaches, and person-centered care to support each client’s unique healing journey. I am a Board Certified Clinical Supervisor, a Certified Trauma Professional, and an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for all.

Since 2021, I have also served in leadership roles that strengthened my expertise in clinical best practices, program development, and connecting people to essential community and healthcare resources. These experiences have deepened both my passion and purpose: to help clients access empowerment, authenticity, and meaningful change.

On a personal note: Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in spending time with my corgis, gardening, painting, cooking for my loved ones, and writing music. These creative practices keep me grounded and help me show up with presence and warmth in my work.

Daisy Mae

(Unlicensed, Highly Enthusiastic)

Hi, I’m Daisy Mae — the Director of Happiness around here. While I don’t join therapy sessions, I work hard behind the scenes to keep my human grounded, supported, and surrounded by tail wags and joyful energy. I specialize in boosting morale, encouraging rest, and offering unconditional acceptance at all times.

I take great pride in helping create the warm, calm atmosphere my human brings into their work — and yes, I absolutely insist on being acknowledged for my contributions.
